  1. Preheat your oven to 180. Peel the celeriac. Cut in half, then slice very thinly, set aside..

Cover the pie with the smaller circle of pastry and crimp the edges together. Make a a pattern into the pastry slice gently with a knife, without cutting through. Brush with milk or the egg for a glaze..
  5. Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes and golden brown. Eat hot or cold..
